Well, this is interesting.
I want to address an issue with the mailing service that some of you might have noticed. Back in February, I realized that many of you hadn’t received my prayer letters since October, even though I’ve been sending them out monthly. It seems something changed with the server around that time, and we’re (meaning the admin) still working on fixing it. I’m not sure if all of you received the Spanish version, or if it was only sent to a few.
Here’s how I usually handle my reports: I write and publish the English version first, which I also receive. I did receive my English version, so I was unaware of any issues and still can’t tell how widespread the problem is. Last night a missionary friend from across the world responded to me. I noticed he had received the Spanish version, but since he speaks Spanish (and I was tired), I didn’t think much of it. However, this morning, several others replied, and more followed after church. Special kudos to a friend who, despite not speaking Spanish, managed to decipher the letter using her knowledge of Latin!
Typically, after sending the English version to the English mailing list, I translate the letter into Spanish and send it to the Spanish list. What’s odd is that I’m the only one on that Spanish list! When I receive the Spanish copy, I format it and manually send it to groups of Spanish-speakers who support me in prayer, mostly from Venezuela and Peru. I’m so grateful that there are those that I ministered to who now minister with us on the team.
So, I’m at a loss as to how the Spanish version, meant only for me, ended up on the English mailing list—especially after publishing it in English.

We’re (the admin) working to fix this, but if it happens again, you can always click on the link of the letter that will take you to the website version. At the top of the website Spanish version, there’s an arrow labeled “Previous” or some other indication to click on to take you to the English version. If you prefer to receive an email of the letter, just email me and I’ll forward it to you. Please let me know if you receive this and possibly another separate mailing of the English version as the admin may try to send it out again.
I apologize for these glitches that are beyond my technical understanding. Thank you for your patience and for your continued support. Thanks also to all of you who have alerted me to the problem. I always recommend that you go to the website to read the letter because it is formatted there to have an appealing appearance. This was not a marketing ploy to force you to go there!
